Holyoke Mall opened in 1979 as New England’s largest center. A Cyberstation arcade on the lower level mixed Ridge Racer with redemption games and remained bustling until a 2016 renovation swapped it for apparel retail. Western-Mass gamers still recall lining up for DDR Extreme opposite the food-court atrium.
